EXPERIENCE:
Mr. Loops has been practicing law over ten years with the majority of his practice being in litigation. His focus has been on commercial litigation including property related transactions (commercial and residential), banking regulation, liens, creditors’ rights and collection. Examples of his past clients include financial institutions, real estate management companies, construction and companies. Mr. Loops has extensive experience in contested motion practice, discovery, depositions, hearings and trial work. In recent years, Mr. Loops has handled disputes in the mortgage industry covering topics such as Truth in Lending Act (TILA), Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA) violations, and Illinois Consumer Fraud and Business Practices Act, among others. He strives for the most economic solutions for his clients, whether it is mediation and other alternative dispute resolution proceedings, a negotiated settlement, or litigation.
